Is It Possible to Train Your Brain for Success?

By Kelli Cooper

If you are active on social media you have most likely noticed that hardly a day, no really hardly an hour goes by without seeing someone post an inspirational or positive-thought quote from some key figure from history or a wildly successful person from today. What effect do they have on your brain? Do they really affect your brain in a positive way? Are the highly successful people of the world to credit a measure of that success to their power of thought?

One quote that I am particularly fond of is by Oprah Winfrey who said,”The greatest discovery of all time is that a person can change his future by merely changing his attitude.”

If you have read my other articles or listened to the podcasts you know by now that I am a fan of brain power. Now understand that I am not saying that you simply have to “think” success in order for you to have success cheap levitra no prescription. Success takes a ton of work. I really do not think Oprah Winfrey gained her level of success by just changing her attitude. I am however saying that by controlling her attitude and maintaining one that is powerfully positive has helped her reach the level of success she has. Look at her life. Did you know that she was at one time fired from her job as news anchor because it was said that she was “unfit for television”? True story! Oprah Winfrey unfit for TV!? Had she allowed that set back in her life to stop her from moving forward in the television field she would never have reached the level of success she has now.

Here is another good example: Walt Disney. I am using him because he is one of my favorite people from history. He built an empire on an idea that was so innovative and so unique that most people could not even grasp his vision. Yet just a few years before he started to build on his idea of Disneyland, (with its key character being a mouse who wears gloves and pants) he was fired from a newspaper because he lacked imagination and had no original ideas. Yep that’s what happened. Again, had he allowed this setback to change his attitude from one of vision and determination to one of failure and settling, we would not have the greatest amusement park in history! Okay well at least I believe it is.

The point I’m trying to make is that there is HUGE power in having the right mindset in life and business. There are actual steps that a person can take that will train their brain to think with success in mind. You can train your brain to think in such a positive way that despite the setbacks or disappointments in life you can overcome, learn from, and train your brain to work its way through it!

So I challenge you to start out every day with a positive thought. Put up positive sayings of success all over your home. Repeat those statements of success every day and your brain will get it and support you in your journey to the top of whatever mountain you wish you climb.

Think Positive-Be Positive-and Positive Things WILL happen!
